buildings, towers in the "golden
  bay" (everything made of sandstone).
    five particular houses fourty
   stories tall, hundred meters apart,
    in a slight arc inwards.

between two mountains; to the right
and left the city climbs quickly.
the right plateau hosts a lush and
shaded garden which morphs into a
  terrace overlooking the sea and
             the buildings.

to the left the houses climb
similarly but a lot of tunnels and
halls have been dug from the
    mountain. some houses stand
  completely "inside". because of cave
   conditions the lower floors here
are covered in dark algae that the
city long ago stopped trying to
   remove. establishments use neon
signs as an accent to the dark.
         there's a casino.
     there's an internet cafe.

most people living here have long
snouts and big ears. all space is
shared (few rooms have locks or
  even doors). interior design is
    mostly art nouveau and made
         out of copper.
